Hi,
my name is Tracy Keller, and after 18 years of riding, my goal is to
provide you with an opportunity to enjoy the horse, take in the sounds
and smells of the country. The safety of the rider and the horse is my
number one focus. The horses have affectionately become a part of my
family. I invite you to join us for a time on the trail.

RIDES OFFERED:
EASY RIDER:
Planned with the beginning rider in mind, this ride starts with 15
minutes of instruction and is on flat ground. The trail takes you
around edges of tree-lined alfalfa fields and beside a pond.
INTERMEDIATE RIDER:
This ride is a little more challenging, walking the horse up and down some of the Flint Hills and crossing water.
ADVANCED RIDER:
This ride involves riding the horse at a trotting gait up and down the Flint Hills and crossing water.
SPECIAL RIDES
Moonlight Ride:
Nothing
is more beautiful than seeing the Flint Hills in the moonlight by
horseback - what a wonderfully romantic way to spend an evening!
Sunset Ride: One hour before sundown.
PRICE:
Each ride takes a little over an hour and is $50 per person. Ask about our extended ride discount!
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Riders must be
7 years of age or older.
- Riders must be physically and mentally able to ride and control a horse.
- Riders must sign a release of liability form and be covered by an existing health insurance policy.

Riders must go through a short riding test to determine their riding
experience, knowledge of basic safety rules, and the appropriate level
of trail ride.
- Rides on Sundays are evening only.

Trails rides are four miles from the 1878 Sage Inn & Stagecoach
Station. Happy Trails is not affiliated with the Sage Inn, but offers
this recreational opportunity to the Inn's guests.
