The
Prairie View Room is secluded at the end of a long hall (or sitting
area) on the upper floor and has windows on three sides.
Sleep on air with a SelectComfort mattress and four poster

pine vanities and a Slipper Tub with Shower Ring. An antique
wardrobe and chaise set off this escape to 19th century hospitality.
Twin Room #2- The Wagoneer
- $95
Ideal for two friends traveling together, this room at the top of
the stairs to the left is historically significant as the traditional
quarters of the stagecoach drivers. With a detached tub-shower
combo and two single beds, it has a pleasing
view overlooking the woods toward Mission Creek.
Double Room #3 - The Meadowlark- $85
The Meadowlark
Room is at the top of the stairs on the upper floor and is
original to the 1865 Inn. A tall four poster double bed is covered
with a soft, puffy cotton feather quilt. A wardrobe and spinning
wheel highlight the antique furnishings. The adjoining, with hallway
access, private bath has a tiled shower and beadboard walls.
"Cozy" and "warm" describe this quaint getaway to the colonial
era.
Double
Room #4 - The Flint Hills - $105
Situated on the main floor off the parlor, this elegant Victorian room
has the advantage of no steps to all facilities for those who may find
that appealing. Prominently featured are the stately full
bed-frame, handsome wardrobe, and corner loveseat. An oval
corner tub and shower and views to the woods and side complete the accoutrements
of this original master bedroom.
King Room #5 - The Cottonwood - $125
As our luxury suite, the Cottonwood on
the lower level has a more contemporary flair. The
King-size four-poster bed and maple dresser are a suitable backdrop for shelves
lined with antique collectibles. A
spacious, modern bath adjacent to the room features a two-person jacuzzi and
triple-head shower. The
large back patio is just steps away from your entrance.
