The Sage Inn Gas Station
In the late 1920's, a small corner Phillips 66
station -- later changed to Sinclair and then Mobil -- was built on the Sage Inn Property to take advantage of its prime
location on the K-4 Intersection.
No longer in operation, it
was once home to the
Volunteer Fire Department and has most
recently been used as an antiques and gift shop, as well as an area for guest
parking.
Future plans include converting the building to a
Garden Store or perhaps an old-fashioned Malt Shoppe. One look tells you
it could have been the original "drive through". |
